WE ARE READY FOR 2027 AND BEYOND ~ AMORI

...As Delta Central Leaders United in Ughelli Ahead of 2027 Elections.

The Unity Meeting of Delta Central Elders, Leaders, and Stakeholders held today in Ughelli brought together top-ranking political figures and stakeholders of Urhobo extraction across federal and state levels, signalling a renewed commitment towards strategic alignment ahead of the 2027 elections.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Senator Ighoyota Amori, expressed profound appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the meeting. He highlighted the significance of the event as a show of strength and unity among Urhobo leaders in the All Progressives Congress (APC), emphasizing the synergy between the federal and state arms of government.

“Some of us sat together and decided we must have a unity meeting today,” Senator Amori stated. “I want to really appreciate the efforts that made today a reality. The high table comprises the highest level of the APC leadership in Urhobo land, a convergence of both the federal and the state might. The federal might is here, and the state might is here, either from the executive, from the legislature, and from the party.”

He acknowledged the presence of notable personalities, including the APC State Chairman, Chief Omeni Sobotie; Delta Central Party Chairman, Chief Paulinus Akpeki; and the Minister of Aviation, Chief Festus Keyamo, among other key stakeholders.

According to Senator Amori, the essence of the meeting was to assess the preparedness of the Delta Central leadership ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“This unity meeting was called to size ourselves, to know how ready we are for 2027 and beyond. The answer is yes,” he declared. “We are seeing ourselves. Nobody can call for a meeting like this in Delta Central. This is the only people that can do it. I’m happy to identify with the leadership of APC in Delta Central. Please, let us continue like this to 2027 and beyond. Seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and everything will be added. Tinubu is already our President; Sheriff is already our Governor come 2027.”

Other speakers echoed similar sentiments, reinforcing the importance of collaboration, mutual respect, and focused strategy as the 2027 elections draw closer.

Present at the gathering were serving and former members of the National Assembly, Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Barr. Arthur Akpowowo; members of the State House of Assembly; Commissioners; Chief Emmanuel Aguariavwodo; Chief Solomon Ighrakpata; Olorogun John Oguma; Chief O’tega Emerhor; Executive Director, NEXIM Bank, Mrs. Stella Okotete; councillors and many others.

The meeting ended on a strong note of unity and optimism, with leaders resolving to maintain momentum and work collectively towards a victorious outing in the coming political dispensation.
