Delta Progressives Movement Charts Path for 2027 Elections at Strategic Meeting in Asaba

The Delta Progressives Movement (DPM) held an important strategic meeting at the Delta State capital, Asaba, on Friday, 9th January 2026, graciously hosted by the Delta North Coordinator, Hon. Victor Ucheka.

The meeting brought together key members of the organization for in-depth discussions on the future direction of DPM and strategies for active participation in the 2027 general elections. The session was described as engaging, forward-looking, and filled with a strong sense of unity and commitment to progressive ideals.

In attendance were notable members including Comr. Kefe Stanley Ikpeni, Dr. Harrison Adjan, Chief Oghenerukevwe Pleasure Eferaye, Mr. Djele Meshack, Mr. Ebruphiyo Etaghene (PhD), Evang. Sane Peter Dara, Amb. John-Kenedy Agoba, Comr. Egbodor O. Spencer, and the host Hon. Victor Ucheka. Barr. Lucky Arisabor, the organization’s Legal Adviser, was unavoidably absent.

During the meeting, members discussed practical strategies to strengthen the organization, expand its influence across the state, and ensure active and meaningful participation in the upcoming elections. The focus was on creating a roadmap that will enable DPM to contribute effectively to the political growth and development of Delta State.
