JUNE 12:AMORI CALLS FOR COLLABORATIVE GOVERNANCE IN NIGERIA.

The National Chairman DC-23 and Senior National Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State,Sen(Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori has calls for collaborative governance across all levels in Nigeria.

Chief Amori in a statement to celebrate the yearly Democracy Day in Nigeria which was shifted to June 12 to honour Late Moshood Abiola,said to deliver dividends of democracy to the people, government across all levels must work in synergy and compliment one another as each of the arms and tiers of government can't do it all alone.

According to the Urhobo finest and astute  political Aristotle of this present generation,Chief Amori,opined that governance needs oil of total will to work together with the strong intent of meeting the general yearnings of the people through human empowerment,job creation, physical infrastructures and sustainable societal growth programmes geared towards reducing crime and insecurities.

He used the medium to congratulates Nigerians as they celebrate the 2024 Democracy Day, while adding that politicians should reorient themselves and practice a reformed democracy that will reflect the true philosophy and ideology obtainable in the western world.

"On behalf of my family and political associates,I congratulate Nigerian Government, particularly Delta State Government under the administration of His Excellency Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori (Executive Governor of Delta State) and entire Deltans on the special occasion of the 2024 Democracy Day.

We have come along way in our nascent democracy which is a plus through the freeborn  we have enjoyed as a people.

Although, we may have faced a lot of challenges as a Nation through Democracy but which ever way you look at it,democracy is still better than military government." Chief Amori added.
