OLOROGUN MRS.FAITH MAJEMITE THE POLITICAL COLOSSUS IN URHOBO NATION.

In my deep reflection on women participation in our polity,there came a name that flash through my mind.She has been on the center stage of Delta politics since the inception of this democratic dispensation in 1999.Despice the porus nature of the Political game in Delta state,with so many interest groups,she  pride herself with unwavering temerity,that silent every voice of her being a woman.She is one of the Urhobo women in politics I admired so much,with her spirit of political sportsmanship and focus ideology to enrich the cultural background of the Urhobo nation.

Olorogun Mrs Faith Majemite "the Oniemo of Agbon Kingdom" hail from kokori and she is serving her second tenure as the chairperson of Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.She is a grassroots politician that is loved by her people,due to her style of politics of peace building and reaching out to the people with her wealth of benevolence.She is vocal even in the midst of Political pressure from forces within the political Elites.

Todaythe Oniemo as popularly called across the Urhobo nation and Delta state,has established herself in the politics of the state and there is no way history of Delta politics will not be fair to her.As a council boss,she is resilient and determined to change the narrative that Urhobo women are for the kitchen.She is a political colussus,team-player and Mobile,who refused to be stagnant in the political journey,but keep pressing on until her people and women are accorded their rightful place in leadership in Urhobo nation.

Olorogun Mrs Faith Majemite the Oniemo of Agbon Kingdom,she is a mirror and a perfect Political role model every of our young women should look up to.She has done well,if not very well,in the management of the affairs of the local council since the inception of her administration in 2014.

Finally,this is not the era to throw stone,on our women,who are good managers and mothers in politics,but to encourage them through constructive criticism.This will further encouraged the number of women participation in the leadership equation and calculation in our dear Urhobo nation.We must kill the spirit of gender inequality and form all inclusive goverment across Urhobo nation.
