BREAKING NEWS: AMORI BAGS URHOBO HALL OF FAME AWARD


 

......As He Calls On Urhobo Nation To Support Gov. Oborevwori.

The National Chairman, DC-23,Sen(Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori JP has bagged Urhobo Hall of Fame Award in recognition of his outstanding mentorship, dedicated leadership and extraordinary determination towards the progress of the Urhobo Nation.

The Award was presented to him by Urhobo Progress Union (UPU-Ighelle) during the maiden edition of the Urhobo Nation Youth Conference held at Wetland Hotel, Ughelli,Delta State on Sunday 20th October,2024.

Chief Amori who was ably represented by Chief Hon. Solomon Obareki (Former Chairman PDP, Ethiope West Local Government Area) appreciated the leadership of Urhobo Progress Union led by Chief Barr. Ese Gam Owe,the Youth Wing of the UPU led by Comr. Ughere Blessed and entire Urhobo Nation for the recognition,which he described as a lifetime Award that will further spurred him and millions of others who believes strongly in the Urhobo Project to drive it culturally, socially, economically and progressively. 

The Okobaro of Mosogar Kingdom also used the occasion to call on Urhobo Nation and Deltans to continue supporting His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori Delta State led administration to ensure the full implementation of the MORE agenda across the State.

Chief Amori further dedicated the Award to Gov. Oborevwori,while adding that Urhobo people particularly the youths should not be ashamed in speaking the Urhobo language so that the language will not go into extinction.

"We should be proud of our language and also do everything possible to make sure it doesn't go into extinction."he added.

Hon. Christian Onome Amori (An Executive Officer of UPU-Ighelle) was also present during the Award presentation.
