The Chairmanship flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party for Ethiope West L.G.A in the forthcoming local government election in Delta State,Chief Hon. Chris Onogba has paid a Thank-You-Visit to various leaders of the party across Ethiope West L.G.A on the 13th and 14th of May,2024.
Chief Onogba used the visit to expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the leaders for chosen him as the Chairmanship candidate of the party ahead of the local government election in Delta State.He further emphasized that his administration as Local Government Chairman will ensure inclusivity, equitable distribution of projects and promote peaceful co-existence between the three kingdoms namely; Mosogar, Idjerhe and Oghara kingdoms, while he seek the support of all the leaders and the good people of Ethiope West to join him in order to collectively build a better,stronger, greater and united local government.
He assured the leaders of his commitment to consult with them on critical matters affecting the local government and promised to be a unifying force within the PDP family. Despite not harboring initial ambitions for the chairmanship position, he conveyed his readiness to undertake the task at hand and appealed for continuous support from the leaders throughout his tenure.
Those leaders who were visited are; Chief Barr. John Nani, Chief Barr. Anthony Akpomiemie ,Chief Hon. Emmanuel Ighomena, Chief Hon. Ben. Roland Igbakpa and Chief Hon. Duncan Ewhere
The leaders in separate occasions warmly received Hon. Chris Onogba and his team,while extending their heartfelt congratulations on his emergence as the party candidate for the upcoming local government council election in Delta State.
They also expressed their satisfaction with the Governor's decision, owing to the pedigree and administrative experience of Chief Hon. Chris Onogba's over the years in government.
