PATIENCE OGHRE IMOBHIO WOMAN BEHIND THE SCENE OF MOVIES IN URHOBO NATION!

Patience Oghre Imobhio popularly known,was born to the Oghre family of Okpara-waterside in Agbon Kingdom,one of the Urhobo kingdoms in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.Raised in lagos and obtained her first degree in Theatre Arts from the prestigious university of Jos, plateau State 1994.

She came into movie industry, shortly after her Youth Service in Enugu 1995,through Zeb Ejiro,to learn the rudiments of acting.Although,she never wish to build her career in acting,which she actually nurtured from childhood.Back in her primary and secondary school days,she took part in telemovies.She played the character "Jamila"in Riddles and Jokes,which was directed by late Matt Dadzie and sponsored by NASCO.

Although, featured in various movies like Candle light,and Broadstreet then,her major ambition was to become a movie"Director",which Zeb Ejiro helps her to actualized, alongside Late Amaka Igwe of blessed memory,who inspired her alot.She gave her awesome opportunity  to freely expressed herself as a director.

Patience Oghre is a renowned director,that has transversed and worked with many high profile productions across Nigeria,including;Virgin production,owned by Opa Williams,Alpha vision owned by Tajudeen Adejetu,April ventures and  Amaka Igwe studios.She  directed the weekly television series "Dear Mother" and international awards movies such as Domitilla,Spider,Silver Store,Aiye Aramide, Household,Novelist,playing victim,Hotel Majesty,Three Wise Men,Busted e.t.c

She has directed over 40 movies for 'Africa Majic'Original films,Telenovella Hush,Jemeji, Forbidden......."ISIO"a movie projecting the Urhobo Culture and Believes, TV series 'Shelter Nest',Marry me Again,Alicia and her latest movie "Goodbye to Trouble ".

Intrinsically,she further proved her prowess as a film and television director,by directing one of the best cinema movie "Knockout"a comic movie by Wale Adenuga production (Super Story)out April 2019.

Being a proud daughter with the Urhobo DNA,she won an award for best female director in 2009,plus magazine named her as one of the best female movie director known in Nollywood 2015,nominated by City People Movie Award for Movie Director of the year 2018 and was profile by Ignite Africa Library based in Ikeja and her counterpart Director Grace Eduri-Okon in January 27,2019 and special guest to the much TV show"Nnenna and her friends,March 30,2019.

Additionally,she is happily married to a movie producer and actor"Osezua Stephen Imobhio"from Esan in Edo state and they are blessed with four(4) adorable boys.
