 ......Says Victory Is For The Good and Betterment Of Ethiope West.

The Chairman,PDP Leaders Forum in Ethiope West L.G.A,High Chief(Sen) Dr. Ighoyota Amori JP has congratulated Chief(Hon) Pastor Chris Onogba on his election as Executive Chairman of Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State.

Chief Amori in a statement to congratulate Hon. Onogba who was declared winner by the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) on Saturday 13th July,2024, affirmed that the victory is for the good and betterment of Ethiope West Local Government Area.

"First,let me congratulate our candidate who is just elected brand new Executive Chairman of Ethiope West,Chief (Hon) Pastor Chris Onogba on his resounding victory at the poll yesterday.

This victory is a victory for the good and betterment of Ethiope West.It is a victory that redefined the essence and power of unity of people who genuinely resolved to worked together as unbreakable chain and bond with vision and futuristic goals built on trust and mutuality. 

PDP as a party has further demonstrated her strong root and dominance in Ethiope West  local government and Delta State at large by putting forward the very best of credible men and women to oversee the administration of local government areas in this new political dispensation across the State.

I hereby salute the people of Ethiope West for their courage,bravery and strong determination for standing and voting Chief Hon. Chris Onogba as Chairman,Hon. Austin Atomre as Vice Chairman and all the 20 Councilors even in the face of intimidation,threat and move by enemies of democracy to stop them from exercising their franchise at the poll.

Let me also commend the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) for conducting one of the best adjudged as credible,freest and fairest local government elections in the state and our MORE Governor,His Excellency Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for his none interference and allowing the state electoral umpire to do their work unbiased by providing level playing field to all political parties and candidates.

The sacrificed of Elders,leaders and members of the party through their unwavering supports, contributions and commitment also earned us this victory which we as united people will continue to build on in the next electoral window.

I pray to God Almighty to give our Chairman,Vice Chairman and all Councilors the grace for a successful administration in Jesus name.Amen!
