The remains of Late Mrs. Comfort Tebu Journey Home in a motorcade to her family compound in Edeje community, Idjerhe Kingdom, Ethiope West L.G.A of Delta State for lying in State on Friday 31st May,2024.
Late Mama Comfort who passed on at the age of 104years survived by 2 Children,21 Grand Children,54 Great Grand Children and 8 Great Great Grand Children known as 'Isakprogodi' in Urhobo language.
Her remains was also taken to her husband's compound for a brief stopover and she was received and set on the transition journey as tradition demands.
All the "Isakprogodi" wore special traditional costume (white and touch of red) to perform the necessary rite of throwing and sharing white powder for people.
The burial ceremony witnessed the attendance of family members, in-laws,friends and associates who joined the children in bidding Late Mrs. Comfort farewell.
