Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party drawn across the three kingdoms that constituted Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State has inaugurated "Ethiope West Leaders Forum to further strengthen and unified the party ahead of the forthcoming Local Government election, Local and Ward congress of the party.
The leaders during the inaugural meeting held at the Asaba Residence of Chief(Sen) Ighoyota Amori on Thursday 9th May,2024, approved the appointment of Sen(Chief)Dr. Ighoyota Amori JP and Chief Hon. Emmanuel Ighomena as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the forum respectively.
Others appointed are; Chief Dr. Austin Atiti (Secretary) and Chief Hon. Duncan Eghwere as Publicity Secretary.
The Leaders had a fruitful deliberation on the way forward for the party and used the meeting to also plan ahead of all the political activities arising from the anticipated Local Government Election in Delta State and party Congress at the Local and Ward level.
Those in attendance are; Sen Chief Dr Ighoyota Amori, Chief Engr. Emmanuel Ighomena, Rt. Hon. Ben. Roland Igbakpa,Hon Chief Engr. Anthony Akpomiemie, Hon Ejiro Etacherure, Chief Hon. Christian Onogba, Chief Duncan Eghwere, Chief Solomon Obareki,Chief Dr Augustine Atiti,Hon. Benjamin Oboh, Chief Mrs. Otojareri Happy,Chief Hon. Philo Ededey and Pastor Godwin Akpovie.
