Paramount Traditional Ruler,HRM. Sunday Odogu Okpurhe, Uduaka 1,Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom has felicitated with the Executive Governor of Delta State,His Excellency Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F. Oborevwori on the occasion of his 1year in office.

The Lovely Royal Father of Mosogar Kingdom in a statement, affirmed that the administration of Gov. Oborevwori has promoted good governance by working in harmonious relationship with Traditional Rulers in the state, particularly in area of ensuring there is lasting peace in communities where there are security breach.

Assessing the performance of the administration in the last one year,the First Class Monarch in Delta State, Uduaka 1,scored Governor Oborevwori 100percent in terms of his passionate performance in raising the Infrastructural bar higher, credibly and meritoriously as a patriotic Urhobo son,while calling on Deltans to support the administration in order to achieve more through the MORE Agenda collectively.

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ethiope West Local Government Area,Chief Hon. Solomon Obareki JP has joined well meaning Ethiope Westerners and Deltans to congratulates His Excellency Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori on his one year anniversary in office as Executive Governor of Delta State.

Chief Obareki in a statement he personally signed early hours of Wednesday 29th May,2024, affirmed that the MORE agenda of Governor Oborevwori has not only yielded visible Infrastructural development in the provision of social and basic amenities but also brought enough succor, adding that it has come to ease the pains and solve the problem of the people across the nook and cranny of the state.

He used the medium to express his heartfelt gratitude and commendation to Governor Oborevwori over the unprecedented and satisfactory number of appointments and projects done in Ethiope West in the last one year,while calling on the people of the area to support the government in order to achieve more through the MORE agenda in Ethiope West and Delta State in general.

MOSOGAR KINGDOM SHINES AS IGHOYOTA PRIMARY SCHOOL AND UDUAKA SECONDARY SCHOOL EMERGED IST POSITION DURING UPU YOUTH WING SPELLING BEE AND QUIZ COMPETITION IN URHOBO.

Children from Mosogar Kingdom outshined their contemporary from other Urhobo kingdoms during the Urhobo 1st edition of spelling bee and quiz competition organized by the Urhobo Progress Union Youth Wing under the leadership of Comr. Blessed Oghenero Ughere.

The competition which was organized to marked the 2024 Children's Day at the Urhobo House,Uwiamuge-Agbarho,Delta State, witnessed various Urhobo children defending their knowledge in Urhobo language and history.

A primary and secondary school was chosen to represent each of the 24-kingdoms in Urhobo Nation.

In the primary school category;Ighoyota Primary School of Mosogar Kingdom score equal points with a Primary School in Umiaghwa Abraka Kingdom to emerged 1st position.While Uduaka Secondary School of Mosogar Kingdom also have a tie with Udu Secondary School in Udu Kingdom to clinched 1st position of the Secondary School category.

Five pupils represented Ighoyota Primary School from Mosogar and Five Students also represented Uduaka Secondary School of Mosogar Kingdom.

Mosogar Kingdom celebrated double wins in all the categories today.

We commend Hon. Onome Amori who is representing Mosogar Kingdom in the UPU Youth Wing as Treasurer,our intelligent pupils/children and all the teachers that prepared the children for the competition.

We recognized the patriotic inputs and efforts of the two teachers;Mr. Daniel Conference (Ighoyota Primary School Teacher) and Uduaka Secondary School Teacher who was represented by her son,Mr. Richardson Desmond.

Special salute to Comr. Fidelis Eyenor who assisted Hon. Onome Amori in organization.

The National Chairman DC-23,Sen(Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori JP was among high personalities that attended the thanksgiving service of His Excellency Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori to mark his one-year in office as Executive Governor of Delta State at Winner's Chapel,Igbuzor Road,Asaba on Sunday 26th May,2024.

The political general in Delta State,Chief Amori speaking to media, expressed strong satisfaction towards the meaningful human and Infrastructural developmental achievements of Governor Oborevwori in the last one year since he assumed office in the state.

He affirmed that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori means business of building a new Delta through the people-oriented MORE agenda.

Chief Amori calls for more support towards Gov. Oborevwori administration in order to build Delta State everyone can be proud of at the end of his 8years in office.

"Today,is a day of joy for everyone of us and we return all the glory to God for given us Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to take over the affairs of our dear state in this very season of our political lives.

PDP AFFIRMS ONOGBA AS CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE FOR ETHIOPE WEST L.G.A.

It was purely a political carnival laced with will power to work together as a team in order to deliver good governance and dividends of democracy to the people as leaders and members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ethiope West L.G.A collectively affirmed and ratified Chief Hon. Chris Onogba as Chairmanship candidate of the party for Ethiope West Local government council in the 2024 local government elections in Delta State.

The funfair primary election which was conducted by the returning officer of the party and monitored by Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) officer took place at Civic Centre, Mosogar Town on Saturday 25th May,2024.

In his acceptance speech,Hon. Chris Onogba appreciated His Excellency Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori (Executive Governor of Delta State) for counting him worthy to serve the good people of Ethiope West in this new capacity.The awaiting swearing in Executive Chairman of Ethiope West also extend his heartfelt gratitude to the leaders and party faithfuls for chosen him as the flag-bearer of the party while assuring everyone that he will never disappoint them for the opportunity given to him.

He further used the medium to highlight some of the key focus of his administration to includes; security,youth and women empowerment, fostering unity of common purpose across the three kingdoms which he hinged on the M.O.R.E agenda of the current administration in the state.

The one time Secretary of Ethiope West,Chief Onogba emphasized that he will work to implement every policy and programmes of the M.O.R.E agenda of His Excellency,Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the good and development of the good people of Ethiope West L.G.A.

Hon. Austin Atomre was also elected as running mate i.e Vice Chairmanship candidate of the party in the local government.

Shortly after the congress,party leaders and faithfuls proceeded to the residence of the Chairman of PDP Leaders Forum in Ethiope West,Sen(Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori JP where they also had nice time together as one indivisible family working to achieve a common purpose for the good of all.
