BEN IGBAKPA SUMMON NDDC FOR INVESTIGATION.

The Honourable member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Hon.Ben Rollands Igbakpa summon various operators of Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC to appear before the special investigation committee set up by the Green Chamber to look into their activities in the region.

He made the call immediately after plenary today.Addressing news men,he said NDDC refusal to appear before the house committee is a slapped in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which gave the express power to the legislation to investigate,summon any body for investigative purpose and to gather records.

The Honourable member of the 9th Assembly who believes strongly in infrastructural development in terms of power and electricity,to help bridging the gap of decayed capital infrastructure in the Niger Delta region and to address the complete neglects of the region which is one of the bedrock of revenue to the nation, in the scheme of national development.

He further appeal to all the contractors in the region under NDDC to appear and clear themselves,so that the lost glory of the region can be made better through good road construction to link the various communities,for ease movement of agricultural products in the rural areas,open up channels for small scale and medium enterprise to strive and creating job for  those who can not undertake SME,so that they could work from 8a.m-5p.m.
